Faded Industry Entertainment has long been affiliated with the music scene here in Pittsburgh. Perhaps some of you may have heard of Faded Fest which is a local music showcase featuring over 80 live acts in one day on multiple stages. Well Faded Fest is still a few months off but we are always looking to foster new talent in the city which is why we hooked up once again with Miss Angie Fec of Sew Addicted! Most of you know her from Pittsburgh’s thriving fashion industry but she has also been hosting a very successful and FAIR band battle for several years now and she has decided to partner with us Faded guys cause A) She loves us and B) We have a pretty damn strong network and presence here within the Pgh Music Community. We are happy to be a part of this for sure and to also welcome Diesel Club Lounge as the new home for this series! We all do our part to Support Pittsburgh Music!
Here is what Angie has to say about the competition:
The ORIGINAL BATTLE OF THE BANDS have been created right here in Pittsburgh, PA for those local bands in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas to get a chance to show off their talent to fellow bands, and people and in the music community! This is also a well credited and FAIR competition! I have taken all feedback, bad and good from other battles and created what we consider THE PERFECT BATTLE! We invite all genres (as long as musical instruments are involved). We have ACTUAL JUDGES who are active in the music community that judge based on Musical Talent, Stage Presence, Showmanship, Crowd Participation, and Ticketsales (mostly as a tie breaker). These bands each compete ONE NIGHT against 6-7 other bands. Each band has 25 minutes to show what they got! We do demand a minimum of 3 original songs in the set. Top two places of the night get prizes and move onto finals. On the 5th week we then have 8 competing bands! All prizes and sponsors are listed below!

i would like to know when the next battle will be after the finals. i ama drummer for a band and a guy at guitarcenter saw me playing and we started talking so he told me about this but yeah i think it would be cool to be in the next one. email me back please?!!?
