With all of the Hip Hop Hype and MTV focusing on Pittsburgh Hip Hop in the coming week, we feel the need to give you a heads up on a new project coming soon from the H&T and the producer Duo The Rhythm Thief entitled: “5234 Forbes”

Release date is scheduled for 2.10.12 and its one of the first in a long time that features a Hip Hop and R&B CD with all live instruments bringing a new revolutionary sound for the world to hear. With funk rhythm, jazz grooves, its definitely a unique taste of what music has been lacking.

They have played Faded Fest and some other shows for Faded too. One of my faves was the Hip Hop and Halloween show at District 3 where the beats were funky and the show was totally on-point! Keep your eyes on these cats. It is very nice to see Hip Hop acts embracing real instruments again. With Formula 412 being a fantastic LIVE Hip Hop and R&B act in Pittsburgh already, hopefully more will follow this trend.
