The Great American Seafood Cook-Off is an annual event that puts the nation’s best chefs against recognized culinary greats from around the United States. Chefs are asked to create unique dishes with domestic seafood that is native to their home states. Hosted in New Orleans, Louisiana, one of the most renowned cities for all things gourmet,
Chef Luke just recently opened his new restaurant Chef Luke Wholey’s Wild Alaskan Grill in the Strip District and is very excited to be representing our state in this contest.Â I am personally excited because he asked me to be his Sous Chef for the occassion and as some of you know I am a bit of a foodie!Â Our meal will consist of Lake Erie Yellow Perch which we personally caught today aboard the Edward John Party Boat Charter.Â Special thanks to our Captain, Chuck Gnarra who also informed me that we are Facebook friends already lol.
