Chrissy Teigan has attracted much attention lately by appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated and throwing out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium. She reportedly threw out the first pitch drunk which is an accomplishment in itself. Attention isn’t new to Chrissy as she has been in Ocean Drive Magazine, Italian Vogue, Esquire, Glamour, and Cosmopolitan. The 50th celebration spread of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue was one of her most well known spreads.
This 27-year-old super model from Seattle is also an accomplished cook and journalist. She said, “I always loved food, and I think I kind of needed an outlet.” She created her own website sharing many different dishes and she also pointed out that “I will rant about ‘what am I doing with my life? I don’t know what to do’ and then I’ll turn that into hamburgers.” When someone attracts as much attention as Chrissy, getting away from the spotlight can be necessary at times. Modeling wasn’t the career she planned anyways, but one that found her. I think she is happy the career found her and hopefully her cooking is better than her throws.

Keith Olbermann has his own sports show regularly appointing a “Worst in the World” for each night. Of course this was does in good fun. Olbermann said, “There’s really no reason for her to be on this list, except we don’t have a holy crap list.” This is in reference to the jersey she was wearing while throwing out the first pitch. The jersey represents her favorite late night guilty pleasure., forty chicken mcnuggets. I don’t think she gives into this late snack too often though. Chrissy responded in good humor as she is known for being comical on her twitter account. With over 290,000 followers on her Twitter, it seems many share her humor. I’m sure most of you wouldn’t mind sharing a game of catch with Chrissy too.
