Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 Final Trailer- “If We Burn, You Burn With Us!”

The last carrot dangling has just been cast in front of us for the latest installment of The Hunger Games. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I is continuing the theme of corrupt military-state government oppressing the little guy but the little guy wont go down without a fight. Jennifer Lawrence and the rest of the star-studded Hunger Game cast are pulling us into a deeper, darker Capitol and departing from the ignorance-is-bliss, gaudy, happy-go-lucky, riches galore city we were originally introduced to surrounding the games. Katniss Everdeen is back and looking to end the Hunger Games for good.

Panem Forever

The Mocking Jay Lives

That should about do it. The Districts are beginning to find hope and the will to overthrow the Capitol. Katniss Everdeen has created a symbol via the Hunger Games and in doing so, began putting in motion a destiny to be their leader.

In The Hunger Game: Mockingjay Part 1, we’re taken to District 13 where Katniss Everdeen’s biggest obstacles are yet still lying ahead, waiting for her. The film’s synopsis give us this little nugget:

Katniss Everdeen is in District 13 after she shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta and a nation moved by her courage.

So here’s the deal. Hit up the comments below, especially if you’re a die hard Hunger Games fan. I all about hearing how excited you are for this film. The only rule is, no spouting off stupid comments like, “I read the books and they’re so much better”. Nobody cares. You’re not that cool. In fact, you’re a total tool for feeling the need to try to put yourself on a pedestal because you took the time to read some books that thousands of other people have read as well. Sit down.

If we’re ever going to overthrow something, you need to at least start by hitting me up on facebooktwitter and instagram.
