Take a step back into the mixology lab with Clique Vodka‘s Lead Mixologist, Tara Shinn. This week she has put together some fruity concoctions using a cereal we all grew up loving, Fruit Loops! Some vodkas attempt to release flavors similar to the taste of Fruit Loops but trust us when we say, the real thing tastes way better! Using actual Fruit Loops, she has infused the individual fruity flavors into the vodka and created never before seen cocktail recipes! Get ready to try some Fruit Loops Vodka!
Sort your loops by color. I stopped when I ran out of blue ones (and had about enough left over for a bowl of cereal later) and even amounts of each, but you can use more if you like. Add them to bottles and top with 2 bottles of good clean vodka.
Shake well, and again a couple times day (or when you remember), and in about a week the loops will have shriveled and lost almost all of their color, like this:
Pour the contents of each bottle into a large glass or bowl and rinse the bottle out. Strain the liquid back into the bottle using a funnel lined with a coffee filter. When all of the liquid has dripped through, gently fold the sides of the filter around the loops into a pouch and twist to gently squeeze out any remaining liquid.
